So it’s happened. Resistance is futile. I’ve started this blog in order to keep track of what I have been doing with my life. I recently lost a hard drive on my trusty laptop and with it I lost years of musings, useless information, pictures and stuff that I often shared with friends, family and acquaintances, so I figured a blog would be a way to keep my daily set of nonsensical thoughts organized as how they happened in my life. I plan to blog often and see how I feel about it in a few months, hopefully it’ll stick and in the process I will provide some entertainment to the casual reader that drops by.
Warning, I’m not much of a “recreational” writer. I write a lot of reports, e-mails and letters for work…technical stuff that I actually enjoy for the most part, and consider myself good at. But I’ve never been one to keep a journal – in concept, I think keeping a journal is a great way to document your experiences and it’s somewhat therapeutic…but I find it difficult to translate my feelings and thoughts into writing. Also, I’m incredibly Politically Incorrect and very much so Politically Opinionated, I will most likely insult you, though it will be unintended unless you’re a Right Wing Conservative Nut-Job then it is my intent and mission in life to do so (if you don’t have any Hard Core Liberal Friends you probably are a Right Wing Nut-Job), but what you see is what you get. I hope that this will become easier through practice, as with most other things in life.
